Why We Fast

Updated: Nov 3, 2022

We fast because we are human and that is a precious fact. Over the last 2 million years, we as a species had more time without food than with and, as a result we adapted!

  • Our genes taught our tissues to respond; to turn down things like growth hormone, so as not use up our precious resources as our calories became scarce.

  • Our cells excreted massive amounts of protective chemicals called antioxidants to get us through the stressful times, keeping our immune systems resilient.

  • We became less fertile and did not conceive into an uncertain environment.

From yeasts, to single celled and multicellular organisms, these genes were shared for the last 4 billion years. Ultimately, we have inherited a very well proven system.

When the famine ended, we feasted.

  • Our systems turned on, our stem cells exploded to produce completely new generations of young cells.

  • We became fertile again.

  • We started to store the excess vitamins, minerals and antioxidants for the next lean time. (We are designed to survive for 3-6 month on very little)

  • We proliferated with a growth cycle and repaired from the battle.

And this is how it was. But now, the growth cycle never stops. The average is 15.5 hours a day eating and 5 full meals - everyday, 365 days per year.

The Trojan Horse we never saw coming and thus were never prepared for is Opulence. We are in "The Pleasure Trap" of our senses. (The Pleasure Trap, by Goldhammer and Lyle)

  • Never needing to be genetically adapted to an unending supply of food.

  • Our disease statistics make pandemics look simple and an apocalypse plausible.

  • Overconsumption of food and, in particular, processed food account for almost 90% of all-cause mortality (deaths).

Would it be wise to have a strategy if you're going to outsmart this Lemming's march to the cliff of certain premature, painful, expensive death?

This is why we fast.

  • To undo, rethink and outsmart our modern and deadly world.

  • To awaken your dormant, somnolent genetic potential.

  • To gain confidence in your innate health and feel your body's ability to survive.

After ten-thousand generations your genetic lineage has come to literally - a "fork" in the road. You can embrace the challenge; or, just roll over and die like slowly like the rest? The choice is yours.

I hope you will choose life - with all of its innate and beautiful possibilities!

Our Masterclasses allow you to learn the code that unlocks the door to your future.
